ROAM RUTHERGLEN WINERY WALKABOUT: 50 YEARS OF FESTIVE CELEBRATIONS, REIMAGINED
Celebrating its 50th birthday, previously Winery Walkabout, we return this year in a reimagined format ROAM RUTHERGLEN Winery Walkabout (King’s Birthday long weekend).
WHAT’S NEW THIS YEAR?
The Festival Lovers ticket now includes two days of Festival entry for only $65 (early bird pricing). Demonstrating exceptional value, the price also includes a wine glass, 15 free tastings per day, a food voucher to be spent at any of the participating wineries and non-alcoholic offering. A premium Wine Lovers ticket has also been added to the program, offering unlimited tastings and even more food and drink value. Another new feature is one continuous hop-on, hop-off bus loop taking in all participating wineries rather than multiple smaller loops. With more than 20 buses operating and driving in both directions, this reinvigorated format allows ‘roamers’ to taste the region in their own time, their own way. Jump on any Festival Shuttle Bus and it will get you where you need to go.
Whilst we love to see your creative costumes, in the interest of safety for all, please refrain from dressing in costumes that simulate any emergency services including police, security, ambulance and fire fighters.

Wine
Offerings of sweet, dry, and fortified wines, crafted by six generations of winemaking experience, there is something to suit everyone. The Festival Lover ticket includes tastings under the historic veranda with bar and live music. Super Saturday Special ticket will give you the extra advantage to taste some amazing back vintages chosen by Stephen Chambers. The Wine Lover Ticket will give you unlimited tastings and access to VIP tasting area in cellar door including Fortified wine.
Live Music Both Days
Dance the weekend away with Anthony & Adam as they entertain us with a huge range of rock songs from the 70’s to now. These amazing musicians have years of experience playing with multiple bands and recordings.
Food
Feast on egg and bacon rolls, roast beef and gravy rolls, hamburgers, South Melbourne dim sims, extra sweet treats provided by The Cake Cottage Albury.
Coffee
Coffee cart on site both days provided by Whattle It Bee. Soft drinks and a range of coffees available.
